PayPlan by RBC is a pay-over-time solution that helps you make purchases through equal monthly payments instead of an up-front lump sum. When you check out with PayPlan by RBC, you agree to accept the terms of taking an instalment loan from RBC Ampli Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada.

Am I eligible to apply with PayPlan by RBC?
PayPlan by RBC applicants must be Canadian residents and over the age of majority in their province/territory of residence (i.e., 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan; 19 in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Yukon Territory).
How do I apply with PayPlan by RBC?
You will be given the option to apply for PayPlan by RBC in the checkout flow of any participating retailer and follow the prompts to pre-qualify, review and accept your terms, and complete checkout. Applying is quick and easy.
Is PayPlan by RBC a credit card?
No. When you finance a purchase with PayPlan by RBC you are applying for an installment loan with equal monthly payments from RBC Ampli Inc.

Will checking out with PayPlan by RBC impact my credit score?
Applying for a PayPlan by RBC loan only results in a soft inquiry (soft-credit check) and will not affect your credit score. Please note that, after your loan begins, PayPlan by RBC may report your monthly and final repayment status to credit reporting agencies, which may show up on your credit report and impact your score.
Does PayPlan by RBC report to the credit bureaus?
PayPlan by RBC does not currently report loan status to the credit bureaus but we reserve the right to do so in the future.
Is PayPlan by RBC safe and secure?

How do I report a complaint about the retailer?
If you have a complaint about your experience with the retailer, please contact the retailer’s support team directly.
How do I report a complaint about PayPlan by RBC?
If you experience a problem with your PayPlan by RBC loan you can contact the PayPlan Customer Relations Centre at 1-844-915-2211.
If PayPlan Customer Relations Centre is unable to resolve the complaint, or at the client’s request, the complaint will be escalated to RBC Client Care by the PayPlan Customer Relations Centre.
How are RBC Ampli Inc. and Royal Bank of Canada related to PayPlan by RBC?
In December of 2022, the PayPlan by RBC program was transfered from Royal Bank of Canada to RBC Ampli Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada. RBC Ampli Inc. is now the lender for all PayPlan by RBC loans.
