Details of the Giro Winter Proof 100 gloves

The outer shell provides better reflectivity and also equipped the glove with an adjustable Velcro® closure, OutDry® waterproof membrane and an insulated Polartec® Power Dry® liner made from 80% recycled fibers for maximum warmth with less environmental impact. The palm is made of robust AX Suede™ Echo Diamond synthetic, while the index and middle finger surfaces are equipped with touchscreen technology.

Giro technologies:

In the Giro winter gloves, Thinsulate™ XT-S insulation provides warmth and comfort and combats odor buildup with X-Static™ antibacterial fabric. Giro uses more insulation on the backhand and a thinner layer in the palm so as not to compromise handlebar control.

Threads of pure silver are incorporated into X-Static® fibers. Silver is naturally antibacterial and prevents odors. X-Static® also regulates the climate inside the gloves, keeping them naturally fresh and comfortable.

Hipora® is a waterproof, windproof and breathable material with a polyurethane coating with micro-pores that are impermeable to water from the outside. However, water vapor from the inside can get out.

Giro gloves fit better thanks to Super Fit Engineering! The shape of the glove corresponds to that of a hand when it grips the handlebars, thus avoiding pressure points or creases. Clarino™ synthetic leather mimics the structure of leather, but is more weather-resistant and robust. Clarino™ is easy to care for, breathable and has a soft grip. It remains soft and flexible even at low temperatures. The velour-like synthetic leather is not only non-slip, but also hard-wearing.

Most electronic devices, such as the iPhone, are equipped with touchscreens and can no longer be operated with normal full-finger gloves. Giro equips most of its full-finger gloves with a special coating, known as touchscreen technology, so that you can operate your mobile device without taking off your gloves.
