The Stromer ST3 Pinion is certainly anything but an ordinary ebike everything looks a little bit bigger, beefier and stronger. For example, the SYNO Drive II motor looks massive compared to the compact hub motors you’ll find in regular pedelecs. Although the motor’s 44 Nm torque isn’t much, it’s capable of regenerative braking and puts out a whopping 500 Watts (820 peak.) The removable 983Wh battery is big, too, and its considerable size determines the shape of the down tube to a large extent.
The ST3 Pinion is a sporty hybrid between a motorcycle and bicycle with a futuristic touch. This is particularly evident in the high degree of integration: the daytime running light in the head tube, internally routed cables and seamlessly integrated display in the top tube show that Stromer set out to create the most modern and stylish bike they could.
